Naturally a unique sculpture. Grapewood is actually the natural base stem of old vineyard grapevines which are harvested, and the bark has been removed by sandblasting by hand. There are no chemicals applied, and each sculptural piece is unique. Some have more twists and curves while some are more linear and 'branchy'. The texture is 'knobby' to smooth, and the color can range from cream to light yellow. Indoor only. Estimated actual weight= ~1.6- 2.7 lbs.
*Color, shape, texture, and size cannot be controlled since this is a natural material and variations will occur. Each piece is different. Dimensions and weight are a range because each piece is different. Vines are grown on wire and the grapewood pieces sometimes grow around and envelope the wire. Great care is taken to remove any exposed wire but sometimes it is possible that wire can be missed. Use strong wire cutters to remove the wire if by chance wire is visible*
